Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks


  • Chicken drumsticks: 6-8 pieces
  • Curd: 1/2 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Chaat masala: for sprinkling
  • Fresh coriander leaves: for garnish


  • Make deep cuts on the chicken drumsticks with a sharp knife.
  • In a bowl, mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, salt, and oil to make the marinade.
  • Marinate the chicken drumsticks in the prepared marinade for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the marinated chicken drumsticks on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
  • Bake the chicken drumsticks in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through, turning halfway through the cooking time.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken drumsticks from the oven and sprinkle with chaat masala and fresh coriander leaves before serving.
